this i painted 9-20-2009. first coat of paint and will need a little more work after it drys. oil on canvas. 24 by 30 inches. on my way to angel fire new mexico i stopped at a lake called morphy lake. i took a picture of the pine forest there. the idea of my painting comes from that forest and the fact that there was a full moon as i drove west that lit my way through the night. title: the calling.
